Rachel + Peter

Peter and Rachel first crossed paths in Princeton, New Jersey, having grown up in the same town but attending different schools. During the summers, Rachel worked as the hostess at Peter's father's restaurant in Princeton. It was in the summer of 2013 when Peter joined the restaurant's staff. Their manager, noticing Peter's glances towards Rachel, orchestrated a playful scheme, making both believe that Peter had given her his phone number. However, due to Peter's shyness, the manager actually provided the number on his behalf. They still hold onto the receipt paper bearing that number, which was framed at the Cocktail Hour table during their wedding.

Their relationship blossomed over subsequent years, despite attending colleges in different states — Peter in Santa Clara, California, and Rachel in Villanova, Pennsylvania. Their bond deepened as they continued to date during breaks from college, gradually falling in love.

Shortly after graduating and while both living in New York City, tragedy struck when Peter's mother passed away unexpectedly. Witnessing Peter's strength and compassion as he navigated through this challenging time with his family cemented Rachel’s belief that Peter was the person she wanted to spend her life with.

Over the past six years, they embarked on numerous adventures, including moving across the country to California to pursue shared dreams. Through it all, their love and appreciation for each other remained unwavering. They eagerly anticipate officially becoming husband and wife, eagerly looking forward to celebrating with their loved ones in a beautiful setting.
